POPREP is a movement pushing for Representation of Disability in Pop Culture.

WHY POPREP EXISTS

1 in 6 people worldwide live with a disability — yet their stories are underrepresented or misrepresented in popular culture. PopRep aims to shift the spotlight.

54%

of people with disabilities say “they rarely see themselves on screen.”

<3%

of characters in film/TV have disabilities — most played by non-disabled actors, rarely the hero.

We’re here to flip the script!
